Repeat Prescription ServiceHassle‑free repeat prescriptions, ready when you need them, with help setting up your nomination.

If you receive regular medicines, we can dispense your NHS repeat prescriptions and have them ready for you when you need them. We can also help you set up a repeat prescription service, making it easier to manage your ongoing medication and saving you time.

Ordering your repeat prescription

Most GP surgeries no longer accept repeat prescription slips handed in at reception. Here are the ways you can order your repeat medicines:

  • NHS App — the easiest way to order. Request your medicines, track progress, and see when your GP has approved your prescription.
  • GP online services — if you use your GP’s online system (such as Patient Access or MyGP), you can request your repeat medicines through your account.
  • By phone (for eligible patients) — some GP surgeries allow telephone ordering for patients who cannot use online services. Check with your GP practice to see if this applies to you.

Electronic Prescribing (EPS) and nominated pharmacy

Most GP surgeries now send prescriptions electronically. This is called Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS). Choosing a nominated pharmacy means your prescriptions come straight to us without you needing to collect anything from your GP.

  • Your GP sends your prescription digitally
  • It arrives directly at 3CEES Pharmacy
  • No paper prescriptions needed
  • You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time

How to nominate 3CEES Pharmacy

  • Tell your GP surgery
  • Tell any member of our pharmacy team
  • Update your nomination in the NHS App

Text message updates

We can send you a text message when your prescription is ready to collect. It saves you time and avoids unnecessary trips. Just speak to our team if you’d like to receive text updates.

Care Home Medication SupportRegular pharmacist visits, MAR checks, CPD‑accredited training and inspection support for care homes.

Safe. Simple. Person‑centred.

For over 15 years, our team has supported care homes, mental‑health rehabilitation services and domiciliary care teams to manage medicines safely and confidently. Our service is designed to make medication management easier for staff, safer for residents, and fully aligned with regulator expectations.

We work alongside your care team to ensure every resident receives the right medicine, at the right time, in the right way.

Regular pharmacist support and on‑site visits

Our clinical team provides scheduled visits to help you maintain safe medication practices. During each visit we can support with:

  • Medication audits and MAR chart checks
  • Stock management and expiry reviews
  • PRN and “when required” medication monitoring
  • Advice on complex medicines, swallowing difficulties and mental‑health medicines
  • Support with regulator‑ready documentation

We work in partnership with managers and senior carers to keep your home compliant, organised and confident.

Bespoke CPD‑accredited training for care staff

Our training is fully bespoke — built around the needs of your home, your residents and your staff skill levels. Our CPD‑accredited modules help care teams:

  • Understand medicines and how they work
  • Administer medicines safely and confidently
  • Record and report accurately
  • Recognise side‑effects and know when to escalate
  • Support residents with dementia, diabetes, mental‑health conditions and complex care needs
  • Handle controlled drugs safely
  • Manage PRN medicines and monitoring
  • Follow safe storage, disposal and ordering processes

Training is delivered through interactive sessions, scenario‑based learning, practical demonstrations and competency assessments.

Medication management support

We help care homes streamline their medication processes so staff can focus on resident care:

  • Monthly medication cycle planning
  • MAR chart reviews
  • Error‑reduction strategies
  • Safe handover processes
  • Guidance for new starters and agency staff
  • Support during CQC inspections or local authority reviews

Digital medication support (eMAR‑ready)

If your home uses electronic MAR systems, we can support your transition and ongoing use, including choosing the right eMAR system for your setting, staff training and competency checks, safe digital record‑keeping, reducing medication round times, improving PRN follow‑ups and making sure digital processes meet regulator standards.

Support for paper‑based MAR homes

Not all homes use digital systems — and that’s absolutely fine. We provide full support for paper‑based MAR charts, including audits and accuracy checks, clear completion guidance, training on safe documentation, PRN recording and follow‑up, error‑prevention strategies for handwritten records, best‑practice storage and filing, and support during inspections.

Resident‑centred care

Every resident deserves safe, respectful and personalised care. We support homes to review individual medication needs, support residents with mental‑health medicines, manage high‑risk medicines safely, improve communication with families and healthcare professionals, and promote independence where possible.

Safe disposal and stock control

  • Safe disposal of unwanted or expired medicines
  • Stock rotation and expiry checks
  • Reducing waste and improving ordering accuracy

Ongoing support when you need it

Your care home will have direct access to our clinical support team for medication queries, urgent advice, training refreshers, support during inspections, and guidance on new medicines or changes in resident needs. We stay with you every step of the way.
